What happens at the end of my free trial?

If you have not opted to end your free trial after 14 days your card on file will be charged for the plan you signed up for when you registered. If you did not select to keep trial data when the free trial ends, you will start with a clean account. If you did select to keep trial data, your items will show up in the paid account. 

How to upgrade, change, or cancel my subscription?
  • From the sidebar menu, select "Subscription & Billing". Scroll down the page to the "Upgrade or Change Subscription" header. The first drop-down menu will show the different subscription options for upgrading.  
  • Select the subscription you want to upgrade to. Once selected, the details section will provide insight into the monthly cost, the prorated cost if you switch today, and what is included in your selected subscription. To continue with the upgrade, select the green "Update" button.

  • To cancel a subscription, select "Subscription & Billing" from the sidebar menu. Scroll down the page to the "Upgrade or Change Subscription" header. Select the green "Cancel My subscription" button. You will be directed to a short survey. Please provide feedback and select the green "Submit" button to cancel your subscription.  
How to purchase additional items or barcode printing?
  • From the sidebar menu, select "Subscription & Billing". 
  • Scroll down the page to the "Upgrade or Change Subscription" header. On the right-hand side of the page, you will see options to add additional items (quantities of 25, 50, or 100) and barcode printing. 
  • Navigate to the item you'd like to purchase and select the green "Add" button. 
  • A pop-up will appear confirming what you'd like to purchase. If it is correct, select the green "Yes" button. If it's incorrect, select the blue "No" button. 
When and how often will Scan IM charge my card on file?

Your card will be charged on the day you purchase the application. A recurring monthly fee will be applied on the same day every month. If you purchase add-ons, they will be prorated for the current billing cycle and added on in full for future billing cycles.

How to update your credit card on file?

  • From the sidebar menu, select "Subscription & Billing". At the bottom of the next page, you will see a header for "Payment Method". 
  • From here, you can change your payment method by updating the form provided and selecting the green "Update" button.  

What happens if I miss a payment?

There is a 5-day grace period for missed payments. After 5 days, you will be locked out of your account and will need to contact the Scan IM team with payment information to reinstate your account. You can contact the Scan IM team at https://scan-im.com/contact-us

How do I change my password or another user's password?

  • From the sidebar menu, select "Manage Users". 
  • Scroll to the desired user and select the green "Manage" button in the far-right column. Then select the green "Edit Profile" button. 
  • Scroll to the bottom of the screen to the Reset Password section and select the green "Reset" button. 
  • An email will be sent to the user with steps to change their password.
